Nanina citrina.
Gleicht in ihrer Form, allgemeinen Färbung, sowie namentlich
den weissen Binden an Naht und Peripherie sehr der N. citrina var. α)
von Amboina, unterscheidet sich aber auf den ersten Anblick schon
durch das mattere Aussehen der Oberseite; hienach wäre sie streng

Testa perforata, orbiculato-convexa, oblique striatula, lineis

cunda vel fuscoviolacea, plerumque fuscofasciata, zona suturali et
altera peripherica opace albida; spira obtusa; anfr. 5, vix convexi,
sutura appressa, ultimus rotundatus; apertura lunato-semielliptica,
peristoma simplex, acutum, rectum, margine columellari ad inser-

Hals und Fuss blassgelblich, an jeder Seite des Fusses hinter
der Schale in der Regel ein dunkleres, graues Band; die Schleimpore
bildet eine deutliche Abstutzung. Lippen etwas verlängert. Mantel-

pflückte ich sie auf Gross-Banda zu Pferd von den Blättern der
Muskatbäume ab.
