I. Cornelius Cort/ Kupferstecher von Horn.COrnelius Cort von Hoorn in Holland gebürtig/ war ein fürtreflicher Künstler/ und haben wir darum von seinen Werken bey den Italienern gedacht/ weil er derjenige gewesen/ der solche schöne Kunst und Zierlichkeit zum ersten in Italien gebracht/ und des Raphaels d' Urbino, Titians und anderer edle Werk ans Liecht gegeben/ er starb endlich zu Rom im Jahr 1578. seines Alters im 42sten Jahr.

II. Theodorus Cornhart/ von AmsterdamTHeodorus Cornhardt/ war ein gebohrner Amsterdamer/ und damalen im Kupferstechen der berühmteste/ wie aus vielen seinen Werken/ die er nach Martin Hemskerck und anderen gemacht/ bewiesen werden kan. Neben solcher seiner[Spaltenumbruch] Kunst aber hatte er auch das besondere Lob eines fürtreflichen Poeten erlanget/ und ist endlichen zu Der Gaude Anno 1590. seines Alters im 78. Jahr gestorben.

III. Johann Sadeler. JOhann Sadeler wurde für den allerfürnehmsten Erheber der Kunst in Kupfer zu stechen/ und alles deßen/ was zu dieser Profession mit Ausbildungen gehörig/ gehalten/ und hatte Anno 1550. in Brüßel seine Geburts-Stadt/ zu Anfangs war er ein Büchsenschiffter/ worbey er sich dann in der Zeichen-Kunst sehr geübet/ so daß er vermittelst dern mit großer Geschwindigkeit/ von sich selbst und ohne Lehrmeister/ das Kupferstechen ergriffen/ weil damals bey allen militarischen Instrumenten/ auf alte Weise/ die Schäfte der Musqueten/ Pistolen/ Karabinen/ und darzu gehörende

Neben solcher seiner Kunst aber hatte er auch das besondere Lob eines fürtreflichen Poeten erlanget/ und ist endlichen zu Der Gaude Anno 1590. seines Alters im 78. Jahr gestorben. II.
