Erster Abschnitt

Und aus dieser x + 6a = 20 + 3a findet man
x = 20 + 3a - 6a oder x = 20 - 3a.

14.

Ist nun die Gleichung also beschaffen x - a + b = c,
so kann man beyderseits a addiren, so kommt x + b
= c + a
, jetzt subtrahire man beydersets b, so hat man
x = c + a - b; man kann aber zugleich beyderseits + a - b
addiren, so bekommt man mit einmahl x = c + a - b.
Also in den folgenden Exempeln;
wann x - 2a + 3b = o so wird x = 2a - 3b,
wann x - 3a + 2b = 25 + a + 2b, so wird x = 25 + 4a.
wann x - 9 + 6a = 25 + 2a, so wird x = 34 - 4a.

15.

Hat die gefundene Gleichung diese Gestalt ax = b,
so dividire man beyderseits durch a so hat man x = .
Ist aber die Gleichung ax + b - c = d, so muß man
erstlich dasjenige was bey ax steht wegbringen,
man addire beyderseits - b + c so kommt ax = d
-- b + c
: folglich, x =

oder man subtrahire beyderseits + b - c so
kommt ax = d - b + c und x = .

Und aus dieſer x + 6a = 20 + 3a findet man
x = 20 + 3a - 6a oder x = 20 - 3a.

Iſt nun die Gleichung alſo beſchaffen x - a + b = c,
ſo kann man beyderſeits a addiren, ſo kommt x + b
= c + a
, jetzt ſubtrahire man beyderſets b, ſo hat man
x = c + a - b; man kann aber zugleich beyderſeits + a - b
addiren, ſo bekommt man mit einmahl x = c + a - b.
Alſo in den folgenden Exempeln;

erſtlich dasjenige was bey ax ſteht wegbringen,
man addire beyderſeits - b + c ſo kommt ax = d

kommt ax = d - b + c und x = .
